Position Overview
MC Nutraceuticals is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Bookkeeping Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial services, with specific knowledge in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central. As an Accounts Receivable and Bookkeeping Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing accounts receivable and payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness along with all basic Bookkeeping responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions, including daily processing of invoices, payments, and adjustments.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across various business entities.
- Maintain and verify payment confirmations, ensuring all transactions align with open sales orders.
- Reconcile vendor accounts, verifying accuracy in bills, payments, and adjustments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address and resolve any billing discrepancies or customer inquiries.
- Compile accounts payable data across entities and support shipping documentation.
- Generate monthly accounts receivable status reports, including aging reports.
- Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies and SOX regulations.
- Provide support during financial audits.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central and QuickBooks Online.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to handle complex accounting processes for multiple entities.
- High attention to detail, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SOX regulations and comfort working in an environment with potent product formulations.
