Compensation: $18-$22/hour depending on experience.

This position is located in Springfield, CO. There are relocation packages and corporate housing options available.


Schedule:

  • M-F, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • After hours and weekend availability required.
  • Some holidays may be required.

Position Summary

The Process Tech is responsible for operating equipment, monitoring machinery and documenting results in strict adherence to protocols. They are involved in all stages of the manufacturing process.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform operational pre-checks prior to initiation of various processing lines.
  • Assist Shift Lead in operation and monitoring of various processing lines.
  • Safely and efficiently operate filter presses of various sizes, discharge and dispose of filter cakes, and clean and ready press for next pass.
  • Add powder and liquid chemicals to various processing equipment as needed.
  • Manually enter process-related data into HMI and hard copy Batch Production Records.
  • Clean processing lines and production equipment on a regular basis.
  • Clean/mop production floor and other specific work areas on a daily basis.
  • Identify troubleshooting and maintenance needs on a continuing basis, and report to Shift Lead for communication to maintenance department and generation of a work order.
  • Report daily to Shift Lead in writing regarding observations requiring critical attention, and suggestions for future protocols.
  • Adhere to all company and site-specific safety/PPE requirements and codes of conduct.
  • Adherence to cGMP guidelines for production of active pharmaceutical ingredients as it relates to hygiene, conduct, attire, and documentation practices

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • At least 2 years prior experience in a manufacturing maintenance role, with chemical processing maintenance experience preferred.
  • Complex knowledge of tools/fittings.
  • Cursory understanding of pumps, plumbing and electrical circuits.
  • Ability to work well with others and as a team to achieve a common objective.
  • Experience with forklift, heavy equipment operation.
  • Able to comprehend and command complex mechanical systems/components.
  • Physical fitness; ability to lift excess of 50 lbs or travel up and down stairs on a regular basis, and wear a full-face respirator on an as-needed basis.
  • Punctuality and safety consciousness.
  • Energetic, adaptable, and self-starting, with high capacity to learn new concepts.
  • Able be trained on and demonstrate proficiency with SOP’s for various processes.
