Main Responsibilities: 

  • Demonstrate knowledge of control system design methods
  • Demonstrate knowledge of standard materials and practices
  • Attend Project Design reviews
  • Support Validation team to test validation package per customer’s specifications
  • Demonstrate knowledge of PLC programming methods for integration of machine Vision systems
  • Demonstrate methods for completion of the Software Design Specification
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the ERP system and tracking delivery dates
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the controls system assembly start package
  • Complete the Software Design Specification with input from Mechanical Engineering
  • Participate in debug activities on the floor, including the support of PLC Technicians assigned to the debug
  • Responsible for accurately and timely generation of the Controls Engineering documentation package assigned to each customer project

Skills Required:

  • PLC and HMI Experience (Allen Bradley definitely preferred as it is 95% of our business). Able to write code from scratch and not only modify existing code
  • Good Electrical knowledge (Electrical devices such as breakers, VFD, overload, input/output cards, able to read schematics). Able to pick basic components and redline schematics
  • Good troubleshooting skills (Electrical and software)
  • Good safety knowledge (E-stop and guard doors)
  • Good knowledge of remote devices using Ethernet IP (Remote IO/communication to other devices)
  • Basics Motion experience (Servo or/and VFD)

Location: Englewood, Colorado and does require on site working conditions

Relocation: Open to relocation options and packages

Salary: (60,000 -75,000 per salary)   Overtime paid and great benefits package
