Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages and coordinates the activities of the Food & Nutrition Services department at all locations in order to ensure quality services. This includes patient services, retail services, catering services and in-patient clinical services for the health system. 
• Works closely with the Clinical Nutrition Supervisor and Department Director to enhance clinical nutrition care at NRHS. 
• Registered Dietitian providing inpatient care.
• Establishes, implements and evaluates nutrition care plans for patients. 
• Works closely with Healthcare team to provide high quality nutrition care.
• Preceptor for clinical interns and students.  
• Liaison between clinical nutrition team and other disciplines and providers. 
• Provides training to the clinical team and other departments.  

Requirements:

• Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an Oklahoma State license. (RD/RDN- Must achieve registration within the first 6 months of eligibility or hire date.)
• Knowledge for use of different formula's when assessing patient's nutritional needs; Completion of general and patient care orientation is required prior to providing patient care.

• Six months of clinical experience in an acute care facility is preferred.

• Must obtain a food handler's permit from Cleveland County Health department before hire (or within one week of hire). 

• $1,000 Sign-On Bonus Included
• $22.88-$37.37/hr depending on previous work experience.
