Summary:

The Digital Marketing and Social Strategist will primarily function as our Digital Marketing & Ad Specialist, managing all ad campaigns across the company’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and Google), including web optimization and targeted landing pages. Secondarily, this role will provide managerial oversight of the marketing team consisting of (1) Marketing & Event Coordinator, as well as (1) Creative Designer and (1) Shopify/Web manager.

This role requires a passionate, creative mind with excellent verbal and written communications skills, meticulous detail, and organizational aptitude to join this journey with us. Must be a self-motivated, data-driven individual who thrives in a team environment.

 

This will be a developmental position:

  • Functional: Responsible for all Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Ad Campaigns - that include strategy, design, content, measurement, and reporting. Currently, our Meta Advertising is managed via a 3rd party, and the goal is to bring this in-house. Our current Marketing & Events Coordinator also manages our Google presence, but this new person would also have oversight and participation in that program.
  • Managerial: I am looking for this position to develop into a Director of Marketing role (see secondary reference above) being responsible for strategy and direction of the entire marketing strategy, management and accountability of the team, and a member of the executive team. This person should be hired knowing this is the longer 6-12 months goal. The candidate will still maintain their functional responsibilities per above once being promoted to Director. Functional success is the initial qualifier.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary:
    • Create and own the company’s digital marketing strategy.
    • Develop, manage and monitor all Facebook and Instagram Ad Campaigns via Facebook Business Manager, as well as Google Ad Manager.
    • Must understand the current social advertising landscape as it applies to Meta and the limits being imposed on the industry in general thanks to tighter and tiger privacy and targeting limitations by Apple and others. We need a proactive ad campaign manager to help us into 2023 and beyond under this new paradigm of digital marketing success.
    • Reporting around all Social Marketing Campaigns: Conversion results, sales analytics, etc.
    • Integration strategies with Shopify PLUS eCommerce Platform.
  • Secondary:
    • Team Leader:
      • (1) Email, SMS, Google, and Event Coordinator
      • (1) Web/Shopify Manager to be hired
      • (1) Creative Designer: Print, Photography, and Videography

Qualifications:

  • 5 years+ of experience is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. NO recent graduates
  • Must be able to show prior year success with other companies or programs
  • Strong skill set with social media campaigns and analytics, especially within Facebook, Instagram, and Google Adwords, search engine optimization, landing pages, planning and executing all web SEO/SEM database marketing, email and display advertising campaigns
  • FB Ad/Business Manager Experience, Certification preferred
  • Understanding of current advertising trends and limitations
  • Experience with Shopify PLUS eCommerce Platform preferred
  • Experience building, managing, and optimizing multiple Paid Digital Advertising campaigns simultaneously
  • Ability to back up strategy and recommendations with meaningful data
  • Conversion rate optimization and conversion funnel analysis, and landing page design
