Shift: Day (8am-4:30pm, Mon - Fri)
Salary Range: $50k to $81k (Pay is dependent on Education and Experience.)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Clinical Nutrition Supervisor is a valued leader in the Food and Nutrition Department.
  • Leads the clinical nutrition team in providing evidence based nutrition care.
  • Responsible for clinical nutrition team and diet office/call center.
  • Collaborates with the medical team. 
  • Leads clinical nutrition performance improvement projects.
  • Provides nutrition education and training to healers in the department and the health system.
  • Preceptor for Dietetic Interns.
  • Super User for nutrition software.

Requirements:

Education-
  • Completion of a BS degree program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that leads to registration as a Registered Dietitian.
Experience-
  • Basic knowledge of subspecialty areas (nutrition support, diabetes, cardiology, renal, oncology, etc).
Certification Requirements-
  • Registration with the CDR and an Oklahoma State Dietitian license.
  • Must obtain a Food Handler's Permit from the Cleveland County Health Department before hire (or within 1 week of hire). 
  • Two years of clinical experience in an acute care facility.
  • Previous experience working in a clinical diet office or previous supervisory experience at a clinical diet office.
